Foswiki's default preferences are located in DefaultPreferences, however settings defined here have override priority and should be used for local customisations.

Appearance

Customize logo and tooltip texts:

• Set WIKILOGOIMG = /foswiki/pub/System/ProjectLogos/foswiki-logo.png
• Set WIKILOGOALT = Powered by Foswiki, The Free and Open Source Wiki
• Set WIKILOGOURL = /Main/WebHome

Give your site a specific name:

• Set WIKITOOLNAME = Foswiki

Customize your favicon:

• Set FAVICON = /foswiki/pub/System/ProjectLogos/favicon.ico

Customize your top bar background image and color

• Set WEBHEADERART = /foswiki/pub/System/PatternSkin/header5.gif
• Set WEBHEADERBGCOLOR = #ffffff

Skin:

• Set SKIN = nat
• Set NATSKIN_STYLE = matter
• Set NATSKIN_LAYOUT = bordered
• Set NATSKIN_SIDEBAR = left
• Set NATSKIN_MENU = on
• Set NATSKIN_VARIATION - topmenu

Finalisation

FINALPREFERENCES locks site-level preferences that are not allowed to be overridden by WebPreferences or user preferences:

Maximum size of FileAttachments in KB, 0 for no limit:

• Set ATTACHFILESIZELIMIT = 30000
